
Tom has lived in the Richmond area since graduating from Radford University and currently resides in Midlothian, VA. Over the past 25+ years he has spent his career working around the telecommunications and data center industries with roles spanning from GIS mapping, Software Training and Product Design to Sales Engineering and Sales.
He started his career with Mapcom Systems, a small software and services company providing tools for engineering design and documentation of telecommunications networks. In his various roles, he worked with Telecom providers throughout the US, Canada, Central America, and the Caribbean. He moved on to Windstream where he worked in sales of commercial data networks, voice, phone systems and data center services. He then transitioned to working specifically in the data center industry in sales roles at both Flexential and TierPoint. Regardless of where he has been, Tom has always focused on enabling customers and constantly strives to find the best outcome for each organization’s unique needs and requirements.
Tom also currently serves on the Board of 7×24 Exchange of Central Virginia where he is part of the Internship Committee with a mission of creating career opportunities for college students in and around the data center industry.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Jackie and their two daughters, working on projects around the house, camping and riding his motorcycle.
